| dc.description.abstract | Indonesia cumcntly still imports muskmelon seeds, causing high cast at the farmer level. Tissue culture technique is expected to be used as an alternative method to produce cheap and good quality saplings of muskmelon especiafly the Japanese Cantaloupe cultivar. The respons of in vitro cultured explants are influenced by several factors such as nutrients, growth regulators, explant sources and physical factors. Hence, explant sources, gelling agents, growth regulator types and concentrations were studied in this experiment. | |
