Abstract: To date, agriculture is remaining to be a strategic sector in Indonesia. However, besides its growth, there are also several issues and problems being challenged, which, among others, is inadequate access to information. A survey has been carried out to study about the information required by small scale agriculture and agribusiness practitioners in Indonesia, adoption level of information and communication technology (ICT) for accessing the required information, as well as adoption level of ICT for supporting their operations. The survey was conducted by using questionnaires in West Java province. This paper discusses the survey results. Supply side, including the information sources and the availability of ICT infrastructure in rural areas, will be taken in to account in analyzing the survey results. ICT adoption constraints as well as the remedial steps required to expedite the ICT adoption are also discussed.
