dc.description.abstractOne of the renewable energy that can be used in agricultural field is the wind energy. Windmill-pump is the example in which the wind energy can be used. Windmill-pump is a mechanism in which the wind energy will rotate the windmill to generate water pump. This windmill-pump mechanism is consist of rotor, which gain the wind power and turn it to mechanic energy, transmission system, which the energy mechanic is distribute by the changing direction of turning shaft, protecting system, which protect the windmill from storm, and tower, in which the windmill, pumping system and water tank placed. Placing the windmill-pump system has been done in Parigi, Ciamis, West Java, but this placing faces many problems. In order to guarantee the placing of windmill-pump system, there were many things to be considered. These include location and component. Because of that, this visualization program for component sizing and choosing simulation and fit proper place test for the windmill-pump can be used as one of the consideration in the development of renewable agricultural technology. This program is build using Visual Basic 6.0. The reference for this visualization program for component sizing and choosing simulation is Handbook of Wind Pumping, World Bank Technical paper Number 101.id
