Analisis perubahan penggunaan/penutup lahan taman hutan raya sultan Thaha Syaifuddin Kabupaten Batang Hari, Propinsi Jambi

Abstract

One activity of ITTO Project PD 210/03 Rev. 3 (F): Participatory Establishment of Collaborative Sustainable Forest Management in Dusun Aro Jambi is to develop adaptive management plan of the study area at Grand Forest Park (TAHURA) Sultan Thaha Syaifuddin (Activity 2.4). Adaptive Management Plan (AMP) is a plan which is developed through active participation of stakeholders closely involving in TAHURA management. Adaptive Management Plan is actually a part of Management Plan of TAHURA Sultan Thaha Syaifuddin.

Since it is managed by Batang Hari District Forestry Services in 2002 according to Decreee Minister Forestry, TAHURA of Sultan Thaha Syaifuddin has not yet any management plan.

Some important aspects should be considered in making a concept of such as TAHURA management plan such as i) technical aspects, ii) management aspects, and iii) institution aspects.
