dc.description.abstractVSAT network is a computer network that uses satellite as a communication medium to transmit data. VSAT network connection has a disadvantage that is high delay. Therefore, it is necessary to be conducted research to know the quality of VSAT network services. This study conducts an analysis of VSAT network traffic data on Metrasat customer which captured using a Wireshark application. Analysis was conducted to calculate packet delivery delay, throughput, and packet loss. Result of the analysis shows that Buma Lati site has the smallest average delay and the largest average throughput on RTP protocol with the value of each 22.364 ms and 49.542 kbps. Gunung Bayan site has the smallest average delay and the largest average throughput on NBSS protocol with the value of each 767.244 ms dan 5.398 kbps. Adaro Mile site has the smallest average delay and the largest average throughput on DCE/RPC protocol with the value of each 824.950 ms dan 9.137 kbps. Packet loss ratio on Buma Lati site, Gunung Bayan site and Adaro Mile site respectively are 1.57%, 6.85%, and 2.63%. Based on the analytical results obtained, VSAT network services has a high delay and the throughput was not optimal.id
