dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to quantify ruminant livestock and agricultural wastebased animal feed potential, also determine the location of the processing plant feed in Tegal regency. Data accumulation was done at the Tegal's Department of Agriculture and Livestock and distributed questionnaires to 32 farmers. The potential number of cattle valued by comparing conversion number with livestock population. Total feed production potential valued obtained by multiplying the conversion of land with harvest area. Concentration index valued by dividing the potential of Kecamatan with Kabupaten average potential. Location determination using success supporting factor analysis. This study concludes that ruminant populacy potential in Kabupaten Tegal was 24 727 ST with agricultural production potential as raw material feed as much as 969.04 tons/year DM, 35 115.38 tons/year CP and 296 537.71 tons/year TDN. Based on those potental in Tegal, the appropriate location for establishment of feed processing in Kecamatan Balapulang.id
