Abstract: Remote sensing aplication for the determination of potential fishing zone in Indonesia waters began in 1990. In this paper will be described the applivarion of remote sensing research to know the relationship between oceanographie parameters and catch of pelagic fish (oil sardine and bigeye tuna) in Indonesia waters. The resulth of research shows there is a significant relationship between oceanographic parameter (such as sea surface temperature, chlorophll concentration, and sea surface high derived satellite) and fish productition
