Fennel fruit are plants that contains natural phytoestrogen and have a similar effect as natural estrogen. This study was aimed to describe effectiveness of fennel fruit Infussion (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.) on progesteron level of ovariectomy rat (Rattus norvegicus). This research used 25 female rats that were divided into 5 groups. KN is negative control given distilled water 1 ml. KP is positive control given etinil estradiol 0.045 mg/ 100 g body weight. Treatment D1, D2, D3 given infussion of fennel with three different doses of 73 mg, 146 mg, and 292 mg respectively for 100 g BB. Administration of distilled water, etinil estradiol, and infussion of fennel fruit were done for 15 days with the oral route and the last day with vaginal swab. The progesteron level of serum was analysed by using radioimmunoassay (RIA). The result of this research showed that giving infusion of fennel fruit (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.) with highest dosis could trigger showing estrus phase again and have not effect for progesteron level.id
