Evaluasi Pengelolaan Lanskap Kawasan Permukiman Alam Sutera Serpong Kota Tangerang Selatan Provinsi Banten

Abstract

Increased population growth occurring in urban areas has triggered increased residential development which led to the loss of open space in urban areas. The ideal maintenance shall be applied in order to reach the aesthetic, functional, and sustainable landscape. The specific objective of this internship was to evaluate the landscape management in residential area for improving the quality of the landscape in Alam Sutera. The internship program was conducted in PT Alam Sutera Realty from 10th March until 06th July 2014. Evaluation of landscape management at Alam Sutera has been done with descriptive and SWOT analysis. Descriptive analysis was performed to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of landscape management. Meanwhile SWOT analysis performed to evaluate the internal and external factors of landscape management. Based on the evaluation of efficiency and effectiveness, landscape management in Alam Sutera has been effective but not efficient. Meanwhile based on the evaluation of internal and external factors, the landscape management of Alam Sutera is in quadrant five that hold and maintain. The results of this analysis is an alternative strategy of landscape management by increasing the quality and quantity of employment, tools and nursery, and the quality of services at Alam Sutera Residences.
