dc.description.abstractScallop is suggested to have antioxidant bioactive compounds. Antioxidant and bioactive compound from scallop were studied on this research. Th e DPPH method was applied to measured antioxidant activity, while Harborne method was used to evaluate bioactive compounds. Scallop contained 41.15% of shells, 35.89% of meat, 23.04% of viscera. Th e highest antioxidant activity (IC50) was found from crude extract meat scallop extracted with methanol. Methanolic crude extract of meat and viscera contained steroid, fl avonoid, saponin, reducing sugar, and amino acid. Crude extract of meat and viscera with ethyl acetate contained fl avonoid and reducing sugar. Meat extract in the n-hexane contained fl avonoid, saponin, and amino acid. Off al in the n-hexane contained a reducing sugar.id
