Analisis Hubungan Gender dengan Strategi Nafkah.

Abstract

Gender are differences in the roles, status, and responsibilities between man and woman. Existence of gender lead to difference activities conducted by husband and wife. However, in Ciherang Village, Dramaga Subdistrict, Bogor District , West Java, it is not only husband who earns to meet needs of the family, but also participates in economic activities. Aims of this study is first to analyze the relationship between individual characteristics by gender profile. Second, analyze the relationship between gender profile and family economy. Third, analyze the economic relations with the family livelihood strategies. Method used in this research is survey with quantitative approach supported by qualitative data. The results showed that there is a relationship between age and time outpouring activity profile. There is relationship between level of education and level of participation. There is relationship between the type of work to the level of decision-making. There is relationship between the level of expenditure to the level of decision-making. There is relationship between the level of expenditure to the level of decision-making. There is relationship between type of work and double livelihood patterns.
