Abstract: One of the concentrated sectors in the agricultural industry is broiler industry. High concentration in the industry can have an impact on the high market powers so that social welfare will be reduced, or high concentration can increase cost efficiency, which will increase social welfare. This study aims to analyze the impact of industry concentration on the industry performance, including efficiency, productivity, profit rate and market power in the industry, using analysis of Structure, Conduct and Performance (SCP). Panel data in company and industry levels obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (2009-2011) were analyzed using an econometric approach and estimated by using Two Stages Least Square ( 2SLS ). The results showed that there is a simultaneous relationship in the SCP of Indonesianbroiler industry, where the concentration has a negative impact on productivity, but a positive impact on the profit rates and market power. The results also indicate that there is an increase in concentration and inefficiency during the study period .
