Abstract: Minimum wage is the lowest wage that will be used as a standard by the employer to determine the real wages of workers who work in the company. The minimum wage aims to enable a worker is able to meet the minimum needs of his own life. This study aims to calculate the production cost and the results obtained workers labor in logging activities in order to determine the minimum wage of workers as well as being an effort to increase labor productivity to achieve the welfare of workers. This research was carried out questionnaires to timber cutting workers at RPH Maribaya, BKPH Parung Panjang, KPH Bogor 36 people (6 teams) and discussions with the foreman in the region as well as the questionnaire to forest communities Desa Tapos and Barengkok number 36 adults who are married . The data obtained is a form of description of prevailing wage in the region and analyzed the suitability to the needs of the community life. The results showed that the wages earned by workers felling does not comply with the minimum wage set by the government, but the reward has been able to sustain their community.
