Pengetahuan Fauna (Etnozoologi) Masyarakat Tengger di Bromo Tengger Semeru Jawa Timur

Abstract

The research almed to examine the knowledge about the use of potential animals, environment conservation Tengger community. Society and environment interrelation study, social aspects on practical, and perception and representation. Methode research was used explorative survey, consists of animals inventarisation ln cage, around the houses environment, conservation forest Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TN.BTS) area include lQCal and scientific names and conservation area environment. Etbnodirect sampling methods was used, included direct and semi structural interview to ordinary people, tradition leaders and traditional healer were ~upported by approach and information, collecting technique, commonly ls participatory approach or participatory ethnobotanical appraisal (PEA). Knowledge the various of wild animals and the animals that can using by Tengger people consist of 110 species and about 6% of them are used in their daily life such as food, medicinal, ritual, tourism obyect, and others.
