Perencanaan Lanskap Percontohan untuk Kawasan Rumah Pangan L􀀺stari (KRPL) di Pangalengan Jawa Barat

Abstract

The increasing of population is the point of food security. This factor has caused decreasing in agricultural production land and farmer economic level. As long as food is a basic requirement for human life, people have to use their land for food production. KRPL is a sustainable food housing area program that propose by Badan Litbang Kementrian Pertanian (Balitbangtan) became one of potential way to utilize farmyard and land surround house area for food production. Rural area have a good potential for food subsistence, especially for integrated farming. Landscpae planning of KRPL will be functional space for food production in rural area. This study was aimed to make landscape planning of sustainable food housing area at Pangalengan. This study will use the survei method of qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive with planning process following Gold (1980) they are preparation, inventory, analysis, synthesis, and landscape planning stages. The descriptive and space analysis were used to determine the suitability of the spaceaccording to Balitbangtan. The planning products are; the main area with 13.55%, the supporting area with 4.14%, and the conservation area with 82.31% from total area.
