dc.description.abstractCianjur and Sukabumi. Supervised by PRAMONO D. FEWIDARTO. Giving value-added on smallholder estate product can escalate farmer income, so that the welfare of farmers increased. The purpose of this research are (1) to identify and to determine potential plantation commodities in Bogor, Cianjur and Sukabumi Regency (2) to determine prospective agroindustry within the highest value-added based on the selected commodities and (3) To develop implementation strategies for the development of agroindustry independently. Method of site selection is purposive sampling. Based on research, selected plantation commodities to be developed are coconut, sugar palm, nutmeg and tea. The highest value-adedd agro-products chosen are nata de coco (637.00%), desiccated coconut (65.58%), coconut charcoal (13.87%), stew pure palm sugar (70.82%), nutmeg syrup (107.40%) and dry green tea jar packaging (595.77%). The strategy used to develop agroindustry plantation with the help of financial institution, marketing and distribution institution, and contract with with exporters.en
