Abstract: Omega-3 egg is egg that contains more omega-3 than conventional egg but still not too popular in society. The aim of this study was to identify consumer behavior towards purchasing activity omega-3 egg in several categories supermarket in Bogor City. This study conducted in 26 August – 26 September 2013 in 6 supermarkets namely Ramayana Tanah Sareal, Lotte Mart Cimanggu, Yogya Cimanggu, Giant Yasmin, Giant Botani Square and Superindo Jembatan Merah. There were 60 selected samples were divided 10 samples supermarket-1. This study used non randomized sampling method. Consumer in Bogor city have known the information about omega-3 egg from print media, buy it from supermarket purpose to consumed, all family member consume but not rutine, amount of eggs 10 eggs purchase-1, brown egg shell is preferred, the most preferred packaging was plastic mica, egg price 2.500 rupiah egg-1 and respondents thought that omega-3 egg price expensive.
