Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Intensitas Pengelolaan Hutan Rakyat dan Strategi Pengembangan Hutan Rakyat di Kecamatan Sendang Kabupaten Tulungagung

Abstract

Community forests in Tulungagung Regency have to be managed intensively to increase the land productivity and wood supply from community forests. Community forest management intensity could be affected by the characteristics of farmers, farmers perceptions, and motivation. Community forest development in Tulungagung need appropriate strategies. Based on correlation test showed perceptions and motivations of farmers significantly effected of the level of intensity of community forest management. The results of the strategy formulation in development of community forest using analysis methods Internal Factor Evaluation - External Factor Evaluation, SWOT analysis and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix analysis showed that the priority strategies are: 1) build cooperation between community forest farmers group with timber industry. 2) Using the source of government funds for the program and assisting community forest farmers. 3) Increasing the number of extention worker 4) Maximizing the capacity of extention worker role in disseminating the government program
