Effectivity and efficiency of production flow can be achieved by eliminating identified waste in the flow process. Value stream mapping is a fundamental tool in lean manufacturing system to identify and eliminate waste. The objective of this research is to analyze the production flow in PT. X from the work procedure and factory layout aspect, so that the effectivity and efficiency of the flow process can be improved continuously. This research consists of several important steps; choosing a product to be observed, making the current state VSM for the chosen product, analyzing the current state VSM, and then making the future state VSM. The depiction of current state VSM shows that the production lead time for the observed product is 17 hours 53 minutes and 52 seconds, with the percentage of value added time counted 56,87%. The result of improvement analysis in this research shows a reduction of production lead time for 13,16%, and also an improvement of value added time percentage to 60,26%.en
