Abstract: The increase of population will directly increase the amount of waste organic material produced which can result in water pollution. Water pollution problems also occur in the Ebony Lake because of the input of waste organic matter which lead to a decrease in water quality of the lake. This research aimed to measure the change of organic matter concentration of Ebony Lake water after using bioremediator Cabomba caroliniana and Hydrilla verticillata. The research was conducted using “In Time-Completely Randomized Design”. Samples were performed at three treatments with three replications, those were observed every three days for 18 days. The results showed that changes in the concentration of organic matter occurs during the 18 days of observation as seen from the decrease in the percentage COD value in the control treatment, Cabomba caroliniana, and Hydrilla verticillata respectively 100%, 98%, and 96%.
