Abstract: Coral reef is the most extensive and highly productive marine ecosystems located in the tropical ocean. The purpose of this study was to examine the structure of reef fish communities in artificial reef in Karya and Harapan Island using parameters, such as reef fish species and family abundance, reef fish trophic level, diversity, eveness, and dominance index. Based on the highest family composition of reef fish in an observation station of Karya and Harapan Island, the most dominating are Pomacentridae (Amblyglyphidodon curacao and Pomacentrus lepydogenis) and Labridae (Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura. Reef fish that are often found trofik level in the artifical reef is herbivorous reef fish 50 % (550 individuals), while reef fish that are often found based on fish group of reef fishes is major reef fish (854 individual). There are no domination by particular species on both stations. High diversity index was present, while both the stations are not significantly different with each other using Hutchinson test, uniformity index is high
