dc.description.abstractThe increasing demand for electrical energy in Indonesia becomes one of the national problems. The wind energy which is relatively abundant at some places in Indonesia could become an alternative energy resources to fill those needs. Wind energy is converted into mechanical energy by wind turbine. In wind turbine, the energy of motion is converted into electrical energy by a generator. Ventilator turbine is capable to rotate 24 hours and mostly used as suction fan in factories roof, warehouses, gyms, etc. This research is aimed to use the ventilator turbine to produce electricity. This ventilator wind turbine consists of motorcycle where the number of coils was varied for each data. The number of coils used are varied as 3200, 4000, 4800 and 5600. The average electrical voltage generated from the 3200, 4000, 4800 and 5600 coil at high speed was 4.62 Volt, 6.23 Volt, 6.99 Volt and 8.50 Volt while the average electrical voltage generated at medium speed is 3.49 Volt, 4.69 Volt, 4.45 Volt and 6.00 Volt.en
