Sengon is a fast growing tree species that has good adaptation. But when the land have been compacted and densited, sengon shows dwarfed growth. A lateral root manipulation (LRM) is one of cultivating plants that can fix the growth of plants. The study is aimed to know the effect of LRM technique on the sengon improvment growth. The methodology applied the factorial randomized design method which have three factors. The first factor is to cut the lateral root, the second is to apply stimulantion on root and microbe, and the third is to fertilize periodic. The results show that combination cutting root and fertilize periodic without applying stimulantion on root and microbe increase height improved 10,45 cm per week and number of bud 10 peices per week. All treatments did not effect on the stem diameter. The variables of the treatment visualy dont changes significally color of leaf and new root growing. However, the treatment of cutting root can stimulate to grow a new root.en
