Abstract: Greenhouse gases emissions can be reduced by increasing carbon stock through the development of forests. Agroforestry systems are expected to have considerable potential as a carbon stock in the form of biomass. The aims of this research are to estimate and compare the potential of carbon stock in agroforestry E. deglupta with C. arabica and T. sureni with C. arabica. The estimation of carbon stock in stands and coffee plants using allometric equations while for understorey, litter, and fruit with destructive methods. The results showed the difference between the two patterns agroforestry where AgF1 pattern has a total value of carbon stock is higher than AgF2 pattern. Total carbon stock in AgF1 pattern is 37.49 ton/ha while AgF2 pattern is 14.26 ton/ha. The percentage of canopy closure in AgF1 pattern higher than AgF2 pattern with values are 51.13 % and 30.195 %. The value of Pearson correlation test showed canopy closure had not significant effect of biomass in the understorey .
