Respon Jabon Merah (Anthocephalus macrophyllus) (Roxb.)Havil.) Terhadap Pemupukan NPK di Areal Silvopastura

Abstract

Forest land decreases and the high value of imports of livestock causing competition between the use of forest land and livestock. Agroforestry with Silvopasture system is a solution in optimal land use between forest land and livestock. Silvopasture system is a system of management of forest land for the production of timber and for raising livestock. Silvopasture system in KUNAK KPS Bogor such as red jabon be grown side by side and competition with elephant grass. Increased red jabon growth needs to solve problems because from that competition. Advanced NPK fertilization treatment with a dose of 150 grams gives the best effect on the parameters of the height, diameter and number of branches with average growth rate 47.50, 3.24 cm and 16.47 during two month. Advanced NPK fertilization can accelerate the growth of height so red jabon can surpass the high of elephant grass in the silvopasture areas.
