Pemodelan Simulasi Pengelolaan Hutan Alam di PT Suka Jaya Makmur

Abstract

Forest product is consists of timber, non-timber forest products and environmental services. Currently, utilization of forest resources in the PT Suka Jaya Makmur is only focusing on timber utilization, while the non-timber forest products is one of potential forest product that increase company's revenue and the welfare of community around forest. The purpose of this research is to make simulation model of timber product management and non-timber forest product utilization is not the time to predict the revenue of company and community with a variety of forest management scenarios. Simulation modeling in this study is using system modeling approach. System modeling is using complex component from the real world and it is simplified so that it can be modeled for a particular purpose. Based on the simulation results, the best scenario is scenario modeling 3 because it produces the greatest revenue. Scenario 3 about the company is managing timber and non-timber forest products as well as a community as worker. Income is earned by the company until the end of the concession period in 2054 if managing timber and non-timber is Rp 447 614 560 712 while the community revenue is Rp 180 852 937 with the average income/family is Rp 10 114 117/year.
