Warisan uyut penyelamat lingkungan

Abstract

Burning rubber incomplete combustion will produce carbon monoxide (CO) which is marked with blacked smoke, sulphur, and carbondioxide (CO2). One way to overcome the dangers of burning rubber as done by Uyut (Great-grandmother) Tarmiyasih (80 years) which using residual waste rubber carpet as craft materials. The objectives of the PKMM were to invite and teach people especially housewives in Kebun Kelapa RT 02 RW 04, Cimandala, Sukaraja, Bogor to play a role in reducing rubber waste, pollution, and environmental damage. It will be done by collection and utilization of waste rubber such as craft materials. The Methods in this activity using extension methods and learning together. The expected result of this activity that housewives have skills to use of rubber waste as the base material for handicraft, so that is expected could to sell and supplement their income.
