Abstract: One obstacle of rice production is pests. Pests can be controled by spraying pesticides or utilize spiders as natural enemies. Spraying pesticides is part of conventional rice cultivation and utilization of the spider is part of an organic rice cultivation. The existence of spiders can be detected by its webs. Distribution of spider webs in conventional rice cultivation at the age 8 weeks after planting (WAP) and 10 WAP is random, while the distribution of the webs at the age 12 WAP is agregated which can be approximated by negative binomial. Distribution of spider webs in organic rice cultivation at the age 8 WAP is random while at the age 10 WAP and 12 WAP are uniform. For conventional rice cultivation at age 12 WAP, ARIMA is used to predict the number of webs on a line based on the number of the webs of preceeding lines. The best ARIMA equation obtained is ARIMA (1,0,2) with the RSME (Root Mean Squared Error) is 1.76.
