This research was carried out in February to June 2014. Design of experiment is randomized complete block design with a spacing factor as a treatment and consists of 6 levels. The levels of spacing are tiles 15 cm x 15 cm, 22 cm x 22 cm, 30 cm x 30 cm, 50 cm x 50 cm and legowo spacing (2: 1) 40 cm x 25 cm x 15 cm and 50 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm. Each treatment was repeated 3 times and resulted 18 experimental units. The size of experimental plots is 5m x 5 m. The results indicate that the wide spacing of 50 cm x 50 cm resulted in the number of tillers and number of productive tillers more than the narrower spacing and legowo, but a spacing of 30 cm x 30 cm resulted in higher productivity than other spacing. In addition, a late blight pest and birds attack intensives during grain filling which may inferencesd the productivity of IPB 4S.en
