Abstract: Sugar is one product that is very important for food security in Indonesia sugar demand is greater than the national sugar production are met by import of sugar. High import sugar can be reduced by increasing national production, with intensification. One way of intensification is do a good management and planned of cutting, loading, and transport, because the poor management can increase the sugar yield losses of 5-25%. Internship aimed to improve the skills to do the cultivation and management of sugar cane plantation. analyze and identify exact, optimal, and efficient of management cutting, loading, and transport on dry land sugar cane plantations. The obbservation results shows that the East Sleman and Bantul gardens have different harvest quality. It is proved by a decrease in brix value of Bantul 2 times bigger than the East Sleman, Bantul stumsps loss greater 2.24 time than East Sleman, and the average performance of East Sleman larger than Bantul 0.1 tons / day / labor. Harvest quality Sleman Bantul lower than the East because the collapsed of the sugar cane plantations
