Abstract: Adanya ketidakpuasan terhadap pelayanan listrik akan memunculkan suatu niat kompain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan, motivasi, dan akses informasi terhadap niat komplain. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional study dengan lokasi penelitian di Kelurahan Ciparigi, Kecamatan Bogor Utara, Kota Bogor. Contoh dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 120 suami atau istri yang mengambil keputusan dalam melakukan komplain ketika mengalami permasalahan tentang listrik dan yang sering berinteraksi dengan karyawan PLN atau PT PLN. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi komplain, jumlah informasi tentang komplain, dan status pekerjaan secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap niat komplain. Faktor yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat komplain antara lain pengetahuan hak dan kewajiban konsumen dan komplain, jumlah sumber informasi tentang hak dan kewajiban konsumen, usia, jenis kelamin, lama pendidikan, dan pendapatan.
The dissatisfaction toward electricity will triger complaint intention. This research was aimed to analyze effects of knowledge, motivation, and information accsess on complaint intention. This study used cross sectional design that held in Sub-district Ciparigi, District North Bogor, Bogor City. Samples involved in this research as many as 120 persons whether husband or wife who takes decision on complaint related to electricity and frequently interacting with PLN officer or PT PLN. The data was obtained by using questionnaired interview. The result showed that complaint motivation, the number of information accsess related to complaint and occupational status were positively significant influence on complaint intention. There were several factors did not influence on complaint intention, such as knowledge of consumer right and obligation also complaint, number of information resources related to consumer right and obligation, age, sex, education length, and income.
