Abstract: DEBBY OKTAVIRA. Peranan Internal Public Relation dalam Membentuk Citra Kebun Raya Bogor. Dibimbing oleh NINUK PURNANINGSIH. Internal public relation memiliki peranan yang penting dalam membentuk citra positif di mata pengunjung. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis karakteristik pengunjung yang dapat mempengaruhi pembentukan citra Kebun Raya Bogor, peranan internal public relation Kebun Raya Bogor yang dapat mempengaruhi terbentuknya citra oleh pengunjung, dan strategi yang digunakan oleh internal public relation Kebun Raya Bogor yang dapat mempengaruhi terbentuknya citra oleh pengunjung. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun Raya Bogor. Kebun Raya Bogor merupakan kawasan konservasi tumbuhan secara ex situ yang memiliki fungsi sebagai obyek kegiatan konservasi, penelitian, pendidikan, wisata dan jasa lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan citra Kebun Raya Bogor dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik pengunjung, peranan internal public relation dan strategi yang dilakukan oleh internal public relation.
DEBBY OKTAVIRA. The Role of Internal Public Relation for Establish an Image of Bogor Botanical Garden. Supervised by NINUK PURNANINGSIH Internal public relations have an important role to establish a positive image by visitors. The purpose of this research to analyze the characteristics of the visitors that influence an image establishment of Bogor Botanical Gardens, the role of internal public relations in Bogor Botanical Gardens which influence an image establishment by the visitors, and the strategies used by the internal public relations in Bogor Botanical Gardens which influence an image establishment by visitors. This research was conducted in Bogor Botanical Garden. Bogor Botanical Garden is an ex situ plant conservation area which has a function as an object of conservation, research, education, tourism and environmental services. The result of this research shows that an image of Bogor Botanical Garden influenced by characteristics of the visitors, the role of internal public relations and strategies of internal public relations.
