dc.description.abstractDevelopment of tourism will impact people living in the areas of tourism itself. One of the tourism in Indonesia is Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI). This study intend to analyze the impact of the development of tourism to the socio-cultural and welfare levels as well as analyzing the relation of welfare level with the attitude towards Taman Safari Indonesia's existence. This study was conducted in Cibeureum village using survey methods with qualitative and quantitative approach. The result showed that Taman Safari Indonesia impacts on sociocultural that include the change of the lifestyle, cultural values, power and authority of the informal leaders, and social cohesion. While the impact on the welfare level that include the increasing of the income, health access, education access, and the property right. Result of the study also show the relation between welfare level with attitude towards the existence of Taman Safari Indonesia.en
