Abstract: Kebutuhan bibit nenas sebanyak 40.000-60.000 per ha, sehingga diperlukan teknologi produksi bibit secara cepat dalam jumlah besar dan memiliki vigor tinggi. Kegiatan penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 tahap percobaan, yaitu upaya peningkatan laju produksi bibit dan mempercepat pertumbuhan bibit di lapang. Percobaan pertama adalah mempelajari pengaruh Benzyladeninepurine (BAP) dan air kelapa untuk mendorong produksi tunas potongan batang nanas GP-1 (Ananas comosus L. Merr) dan percobaan kedua adalah pemberian urea dan asam gibereline untuk peningkatan vigor bibit di lapang. Hasil kedua penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan taraf konsentrasi BAP dan air kelapa tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi tunas. Perlakuan pupuk urea dan giberelin hanya berpengaruh pada peubah lebar daun saat 16 MSA (Minggu Setelah Aplikasi).
The needs for pineapple seedlings are 40.000-60.000 per hectare, so necessary a technology that propagate seedlings in a large numbers rapidly and have good vigor in field. The study was conducted in two experiments, namely for increasing the rate of seed production and improve vigor of the seedlings in the field. The objectives of the first experiment is to study the effect of Benzyl Adenine Purine (BAP) and the coconut water to produce stem cottage of pineapple GP-1 (Ananas comosus L. Merr) and the second experiment is to study the effect of urea and gibberellic acid application to increase vigor. The results of these experiments showed that the treatment of BAP and coconut water did not affect significantly on the development of shoots. The treatments of urea and gibberellic acid affected only the leaves width at 16 MSA (Week After Aplication).
