dc.description.abstractStingray (Neotrygon kuhlii) is one of the demersal fish that have economic value which landed in PPP Labuan, Banten and important ecological values in the Sunda Strait. The study is done at PPP Labuan on Juny-October 2013. Purpose of this study is to examine stock stingray (Neotrygon kuhlii) in the Sunda Strait to determine the fish alternative management more appropriate and sustainble. The amount of observed fish was 101 individuals with male sex ratio of 1,0:1,2 to the female. The spawning seasons seems to be occurred in Juni-Juli. Stingray have allometric negative growth. Asymptotic length ( L∞ ) of ray was 1238 mm. Model Fox with optimum efforts to 329 trip per year and MSY 552 ton per year. The mean size of female and male reach sexual maturity was 599 mm and 511 mm, respectively exploitation rate of the stingray more than 50%, meaning that this fish has an over fishing and it seem has a growth overfishing due to caught fishes are still young more than 50%.en
