Abstract: The role of road infrastructure is needed to improve economic growth in Jakarta. Infrastructure is a factor that is needed for economic development. The aim of this research is to analyze the impacts of road infrastructure development and population on economic growth in Jakarta. This research use the model of data panel 5 kotamadya in city in 2002-2012. The result showed that the length of roads (PJ ) positive influence on economic growth in Jakarta population ( PNDDK ), of investing an alien ( PMA ) positive influence on economic growth in Jakarta and investment in the country ( PMDN ) positive influence on economic growth in Jakarta. To create economic growth in Jakarta the role of the government required quite big in terms of facilities and infrastructure adequate infrastructure, such as mass transportation construction to reduce traffic congestion and conduct fair distribution development.
