dc.description.abstractLocal governments are given the authority to manage all resources to achieve development goals, namely economic growth and income distribution. Insufficient resources require development planning priorities. An appropriate regional development must be supported by leading sector development, therefore the local government needs to discover the leading economic sectors ofits region. The method used in this research is the analysis of input-output tables of Lampung Province in 2010 by 53 sectors which is aggregated into nine sectors. The analysis includes linkage analysis, dispersion effect and multiplier effects. The leading sectors in the Lampung Province based on input-output analysis, namely the manufacturing sector with industry specification of wood and products of wood and cork and wickerwork from bamboo, rattan and similar products as well as the furniture industry; transportation and communications sector with a specification of transport via railways, sea and coastal water transport, and inland water transport and crossing; and the construction sector with a specification of civil engineering, specialized construction activities, and building construction. Other sectors based on analysis of 53 sectors that become leading sectors are activities auxiliary to financial services sector and water supply.en
