Analisis Kinerja Kelembagaan dan Pendapatan Usahatani Manggis Kelompok Tani Karya Mekar di Desa Karacak Leuwiliang

Abstract

Farmer’s group is one of agribusiness institution, which is located in the region of the countryside. This institution is expected plays an important role in every farming activity. However, there are still many farmers groups that do not run according to the function. This research aims at analysing the performance of the Karya Mekar Farmers Group and the influence of the institution against the success of mangosteen farming on farmer members in Karacak Village Leuwiliang. The result of this research showed that Karya Mekar Farmers Group had not been running optimally yet. This because there were things that didn’t suit well such as things that related to market existence and credit system on farmers’ group that didn’t work well yet. Karya Mekar Farmers Group also played the role in the success of farming on its members. This could be seen from the result of farming income and the R/C ratio which higher than non-group farmers
