dc.description.abstractImmotilization of live tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in this research were using nut grass (Cyperus rotundus) extract. The objective of this research was determining the best concentration of nut grass extract and immotil time that produced the highest survival rate on live tilapia’s immotilization method. Concentration of 5%, 7%, and 9% were used. The best concentration was 9% with unconscious and recovery time, respectively 8.31 and 3.82 minutes. Survival rate of Tilapia on unconscious time of 30, 60, and 90 minutes were 100%, but on 120 and 150 minutes were 50% and 16.67%. Tilapia’s survival rate on unconscious time of 90, 100, and 110 minutes were 100% with recovery time, respectively 1.26; 2.6; and 4.91 minutes. Value of blood glucose increased after immotilization process. Water quality after immotilization process resulted no effect for tilapia’s survival rate.en
