Environmental evaluation technique based on the analysis of the tissues of organisms that exposed to heavy metal pollution is an aquatic biomonitoring activities that are often performed. In this study, analysis of heavy metals Pb, Cd, and Cu in Astropecten sp. derived from Cituis and Kronjo, coastal waters Tangerang Regency. The heavy metals concentration were analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrofotometer (AAS). The results showed the heavy metals variation in Astropecten sp. in both sites, with the largest order of concentration were Pb, Cd, and Cu. The concentrations of the three metals tend to be larger in Astropecten sp. found in Kronjo. The results of this analysis indicate that the accumulation of heavy metals do Astropecten sp. and indicates that Astropecten sp. can be used as in biomonitoring heavy metal pollution in waters.en
