Abstract: Depth and duration level of overflowing are the factors that will influence the ecosystem of mangrove as the impact of sea-water surface raising. This research was to analyze the response of seedling growth of Sonneratia caseolaris to the different depth and duration levels. The result of this research showed that depth level of overflowing between ½-¾ high of stem gives response to the growth of joint amount bigger than any other depth level of overflowing. The duration level of overflowing between 3-6 hours gives response bigger to the root-sprout ratio of Sonneratia caseolaris seedlings. The interaction between depth and duration level of overflowing gave real influence to the high growth, diameter and seedling biomass. The treatment combination of depth level of overflowing between ½-¾ tall of stem during 6-9 hours gave response to the high growth, diameter and biomass of Sonneratia caseolaris bigger than any other combination treatment. The survival percentage of the seedling showed the value of 100% during 12 weeks of observation.
