Efektivitas Komunikasi pada Kegiatan Pendampingan Program “Jati Unggul Nusantara” di Desa Ciaruteun Ilir, Cibungbulang, Kabupaten Bogor

Abstract

The teak business of Usaha Bagi Hasil Koperasi Perumahan Wanabakti Nusantara (UBH-KPWN) unit conducted by a partnerships with farmers. The effective communication between field guides and farmer is important to improve the productivity. The method used in the study is a survey method supported by quantitative and qualitative data. The results showed the characteristics of farmers dominated adulthood, moderate education level, experience in farming classified as moderate, low income, limited arable land, and the farmers' participation in extension activities classified as moderate.Field guides have a close relationship with farmers, very good credibility and attitude,and frequency to visits the farmer group is also quite high,as well as excellent communication field guides. The communication efficacy between farmers and field guides been effective. It is related to the frequency of participation of farmers, proximity, credibility, mastery of the material program, and the appropriateness of extension methods.
