Abstract: Murdannia bracteata is one of potential forage for ruminants have not been studied. The aim of this study was to determine plant growth an productivity of Murdannia bracteata on different shading and organic fertilizer level. The experiment was arranged in split-plot design. The main plot was shading level (0%, 37%, 60%) and sub-plot was organic fertilizer dosage (0 ton ha-1, 5 ton ha-1, 10 ton ha-1). The resulted showed that the highest light intensity at 12.00 p.m. and the lowest at 15.00 p.m. Leaf area and chlorophyll were increased significantly (P<0.05) by increasing of shading level. Leaves, leaf ratio, flowers, and fresh weight of edible and non-edible were increased significantly (P<0.05) by increasing of organic fertilizer dosage. Plant height, tillers, and dry weight of edible were not significantly different (P>0.05) on different shading level and organic fertilizer dosage. There is no interaction effect of shading level and organic fertilizer dosage.
