Abstract: Eel production is still limited by the seeds source which is on natural capture and nursery technology has not been developed. Efforts to increase seed production eel can be done by increasing the stocking density. We used seeds in average weight of 0.102±0.017 g/fish, kept in a container with a recirculation system. Artemia sp. nauply, Daphnia sp., and pasta were feed sources. The results showed the highest survival rate was fishes stocked at density of 1.5 g/L (60.84%) however this was not significantly different compared to fishes stocked in density of 2.0 g/L (51.08%). The lowest survival rate was shown by stocking density of 2.5 g/L (44.42%). The values of absolute growth rate, specific growth rate, coefficient of variance, and feed conversion were not significantly different among all treatment. The growth rate was ranging from 0.0012 to 0.0020 g/day, specific growth rate was ranging from 0.87 to 1.33% per day, feed conversion was ranging from 1.28 to 1.38, and the coefficient of variance was ranging from 34.85 to 36.08%. The best stocking density for nursery glass eel eel is 2.0 g/L.
