Desain Lanskap Pusat Pengembangan dan Pelatihan Agribisnis Adaro Berbasis Pertanian Terpadu

Abstract

Adaro Agribusiness Development Center (P3A2) is an agriculture based community development program of PT Adaro Indonesia (PAI) as their commitment for environmental conservation and community development. In the future plan of PAI, the site will not be utilized as coal exploration zone but it will be conserved as agricultural area. The site is currently utilized by local people as paddy field, rubber plantation and fisheries although the land property is owned by PAI. The integrated farming system is the concept selected for the site because it is suitable concept with actual resources and social culture agriculture. The method of research is survey and descriptive method to obtain biophysics and social data for developing the concept. The integrated farming system will integrate paddy field, cattle, dairy farm, fisheries, plantation and forestry with LEISA approach by minimizing external input and zero waste. The integrated farming system of P3A2 will be collaborated with educational and recreational facilities. In the future, the integrated farming system of P3A2 is expected to overcome benefits for public and PAI in agricultural productivity, environmental conservation, education and recreation.
