Abstract: Human resources needed by the company should have the competence, the best performance and have a high level of engagement to the company. Highly engaged workers will reduce the employee turnover rate. Employee perceptions can be used as information to know how much an employee engagement on the company. This research aims to 1) determine the employees' perception of the factors Determinants of employee retention in the HR department of the company; 2) determine employees' perception of employee engagement in corporate human resources divisions and as well as, 3) to analyze the influence factors of employee retention on employee engagement in the HR department of the company. This research was conducted at PT Pupuk Kujang used analysis of multiple linear regression and processed by SPSS 16.0 and Microsoft Excel 2010. This research used primary data and secondary data. The results showed that components of organizational, career opportunities, rewards, tasks and job design, and employee relations jointly influence on employee engagement. While partially not affect employee engagement if only a employee relations influence significantly.
