dc.description.abstractThe increasing of rice consumption level in Indonesia with high population growth indicates the need for effort to increase the productivity of rice farm. Tabanan as the district that produced the most rice in Bali is mentioned by BPS (2012). Tabanan has 40 859 ha rice farm area with a total production of 210 762 ton of rice and productivity of 5.16 ton/ha. The purpose of this research are to analyze the characteristics and the factors that affecting the rice production rice farm at Jatiluwih, to analyze the income of rice farming at Jatiluwih. Production function analysis use Cobb Douglas production function model and the analysis of rice farm income earned by finding the gap between total revenue and total expenditure. Factors that affecting rice production in Jatiluwih are seed, fertilizer, urea, KCl, liquid pesticides, and labor. R/C ratio of the direct cost is 2.95 and R/C ratio of total cost is 2.43, which indicates that the revenue which is received by the farmer can cover the entire cost of farmingen
