dc.description.abstractLogging activity in IUPHHK (License for Natural Forest Timber Consesion) activity disturb habitat of joja (Presbytis potenziani). Joja is one of endemic primates in Mentawai Island. This research aimed to analize joja habitat characteristics on logged over forests. The result showed that joja habitat were areas that had trees density of 408.34 ind/ha with leaf area index (LAI) values ranges from 2.7–3.2. The area located at altitude of 50–100 meters above sea level, on at slope between 15–25%, Joja was found within 200–300 meters from the main road or skid trail, and within 300–400 meters from the river.en
