Ukuran Tubuh Ayam F1 Persilangan Ayam Kampung dengan Ayam Ras Pedaging Umur 0-12 Minggu

Abstract

The aimed of this research was to know body size of the first crossing chickens (F1) from Kampung x Commercial chicken (KB) and Commercial x Kampung chicken (BK), 0 weeks up to 12 weeks old. There are KB chicken 67 birds and BK chicken 15 birds. Body size of KB and BK chicken was measured every 2 weeks. Research data were analyzed by T test. Variables measured consisted of body weight, wing span, length of the backbone, length of the tibia, length of the femur, length of the shank, length of the breast and breast circumference. Body size and body weight of KB chicken and BK chicken were not significantly different (P>0.05). Body size of KB chicken and BK chicken were higher than chicken kampong. Based of the researh, KB roaster and BK roaster had body size were biggest than KB hen and BK hen. Kampung chicken crossbred with commercial chicken could to increased body weight and body size of KB and BK chicken than Kampung chicken.
