dc.description.abstractAnimal Protein is the nutritional elements that must be met by the community in order for the creation of qualified human resources. As the dominant area of the coast, Kabupaten Cirebon has the potential of producing foodstuffs of animal protein sources, especially fish. However, fish consumption in the region is not a dominant. Therefore, used Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) methods to look at food animal protein consumption patterns Kabupaten Cirebon in each of the revenue, using SUSENAS 2012 data. The egg is a commodity, the dominant consumed. The elasticity of demand of food animal has the properties of inelastic, on commodity among fish eggs have a relationship with a dominant substitution, whereas the dominant complementary relationships occur on commodity meat with eggs. Meat becomes a commodity that has the largest income elasticity values. Animal protein needs of the low income not sufficient standards established. When a simulating done beef price hike, the low income who are having the biggest impact because of the animal's food consumption patterns are having a significant declineen
